The City of Pearland Purchasing Division operates in accordance with the Texas Local Government Code, the Pearland City Charter and City of Pearland Purchasing policy.
 
Bids for purchases and contracts valued in excess of $50,000 are advertised once a week for two consecutive weeks prior to the bid opening date in the local newspaper of record, currently the Pearland Journal. It is the City's preference that all response documents be submitted electronically via the E-Bidding website described below; however, if you are unable to complete the bid package electronically, Vendors may submit a hard-copy of their bid to the City Secretary's Office at 3519 Liberty Drive, Suite 262, Pearland, Texas 77581. Late bids will not be considered for award. City Council has authority for the subsequent bid award.
 
E-Bidding System Available for Vendors
 
The City of Pearland has instituted an e-bidding and supplier management system which is free to our Vendors. Vendors wishing to participate in the electronic bidding process may register their company by clicking on Supplier Registration.
 
Benefits of E-Bidding:
 
There is no charge for Vendors to register and participate in any posted City bid, quote or RFP process.
Registered Vendors automatically receive notifications by email of posted bids within their area(s) of interest.
Complete and submit your bids online.
Review bid tabulations and awarded bid information online.
The system is web-based and available 24 hours per day with internet access.
