Marlon Walls, Pearland Oilers

 Walls had two unassisted tackles, one sack, and two pass interceptions against Pasadena Memorial and returned both for touchdowns covering 28 and 22 yards in helping the Oilers to a 52-6 district win that keeps the Oilers perfect on the season at 8-0 and 5-0 in league action. The Oilers defense held the Mavericks to only 50 total yards with -minus one rushing while picking off three passes and returning all three for scores.

Other notables:

WR Slade Holle, Friendswood, caught four passes for 110 yards against Dawson including a 59-yard touchdown as the Mustangs knocked off the Eagles 31-14.

QB Deriq King, Manvel, hit 8-of-8 passing for 218 yards and four TDs while also picking up 69 yards rushing on four carries to lead the Mavericks to a 61-0 rout over Sam Rayburn.

RB Brett Winnegan, Dawson, was one of the few shining stars for the Eagles in the 31-14 loss to Friendswood. Winnegan carried the ball 31 times for 229 yards while scoring on runs of 80 and 49-yards.

WR Reggie Hemphill, Manvel, had three catches for 118 yards and two touchdowns covering 40 and 50-yards.
